Oh man... it gets me really irritated about this whole gas issue. I still cannot see any reasoning for the ridiculous prices being charged for gasoline, why there is not more availabillity of other fuel types or methods of transportation for people at a price they can actually afford, and why the heck the oil companies are making these billion dollar profits?? I honestly believe the only way things will change quickly is if "the people" (citizens) rebel and protest as a whole and demand that things change... and change NOW. That's the only way. Otherwise, it's always going to be the same thing. Government poking around and talking... talking... talking... about what SHOULD happen. They are worthless when it comes to getting things done. I really think there should be more then one president of the US. Because one person just can't handle everything all at once. It's too much for one person to make all these executive decisions on. I think that's why so much gets put on the back burner. I mean, imagine being the president and you have every question and issue you could ever think of being thrown at you from billions of people at all times of the day and night. How would you manage all that?
You are so right. When the oil is gone, it's gone. People don't get it. Then what will we do?
I want to buy a Ford Fusion because I like them and they get good gas mileage. But I am torn about whether or not I should buy or lease. On one hand, I don't want to be bound by a limited amount of mileage that comes with a lease. But on the other hand, if I lease, I can trade for another car when a new alternatively fueled vehicle comes out. I just don't know what to do about that.
