I hate to say it because I never thought it before, but I do think that Hillary would have been the best choice in this election....

Yes, I am really worried about what is going to happen to our country. Mccain IS an old man. What worries me about that... I think about a lot of people I know that are older is that they are stuck in the past. Stuck in the ways of the past. They do not do well with change and new ways of thinking. It makes me think of the grandfather that is disgusted with his gandchild for wanting to be a rock star and thinking their is no future in it. It makes me think that nothing will change. That he does not have what it takes to mold the world into a newer, more modern place.
I do think that because Obama is younger and because of the type of people he associates with, that he would be better at thinking into the future at more modern and futuristic ideals. But, at the same time, I agree that he is probably not ready to be a present. I think that if Obama wins, it might be ok so long as he is willing to continue to learn and be molded by America and listen hard to those in government that know what they are doing. I think he has potential, but it's a risky play.
I also worry about all the contaversy over his race. There has been a lot of focus on the color of his skin. I think it's ridiculous. I don't think it EVER should have mattered what color his skin is. But what worries me about this is that people are going to make this into a racial thing. I worry that he might have his own racial motivation behind this. I truly hope that isn't true, but the thought is still there. I am really happy that he is multi-racial though. I think that is a huge step to accepting that it's ok to be who we are. That it doesn't matter if you are white or black and that your color has nothing to do with your IQ.
I think I am leaning more toward Obama at this point. I don't like Mccain at all.
