Credit Bureaus are a scam!

I am so irritated right now! All I want to do is order my credit score from the 3 credit bureaus, but they make it ridiculous! Equifax is the only one that let me just order my score without jumping through any hoops or trying to intentionally confuse me.

Do you know that on the TransUnion website, you can't just order your credit score by itself? No! Unless the option is cleverly hidden somewhere, the only choices I have are to order a monthly subscription for a credit monitoring product. But that means I have to mess with canceling it when I am done. What a joke!

Then on Experian, I ordered my "credit score" ("PlusScore") or what I thought was my credit score. Turns out it wasn't the REAL ("VantageScore") credit score that lenders use! It's some stupid made up score that Experian created to supposedly help you understand scoring. No one uses it for real lending purposes. I don't even know what the point of it is except to get your money. Oh no... they cleverly hide the real score you want in this hard to find place. And they word everything so that you THINK you are buying the right thing, but you aren't. Personally, I think they should be held responsible for confusing people. In fact, I think I am going to make some complaints about this.
