Question What will happen to all the obsolete vehicles?

I was looking through an Auto Mart catalog which lists vehicles for sale. I noticed a LOT of SUVs, vans, trucks, and old cars. It sparked a question in my head.

With the way things are headed, some day, unleaded fuel will no longer be used. I am sure of it. There will probably eventually be a ban on using unleaded fuel because of air pollution. So when that day comes, what happens to all of the vehicles that use unleaded fuel? Have you ever paid attention to how many different vehicles you see around you on a daily basis? Think about what it's like during rush hour traffic. The amount of vehicles is insanely huge. Where will they all go?? I am guessing the only thing we will be able to do is make trash dumps for cars where they are compacted into blocks. But even if they are compacted, I just wonder how big that mountain of compacted vehicles will be?

Hopefully we will be able to recycle most of the stuff that the cars are made of. But I am not sure. That would take some serious recycling efforts.

Hmmm... just a little "food for thought".

They can be melted into a volcano and be recycled naturally?

Or melted into steel beams for buildings? Who knows.
