Default Creating Wind Energy

Wind energy is the conversion of kinetic energy into other useful forms of power. Wind energy has been in use for hundreds of years in a variety of operations like sailing, grinding grain, and for irrigation. The wind energy systems for irrigation and milling have been in use since ancient times and since the beginning of the 20th century it is being used to generate electric power.

Wind energy is increasingly getting used as an ideal source of renewable energy. It is currently making a significant contribution to the installed capacity of power generation, and is emerging as a competitive option.

One of the best advantages of Wind Energy is that it is one of the cheapest and cleanest renewable energy sources available. Moreover, it is environment friendly as it does not produce air pollution. The wind energy industry has been growing at the rate of 28% a year for the past five years, and that too, with a capacity of double about every three or four years. That’s why, the wind farms investments are all set to rise in the coming years.
