What's this all about??

Hello everyone and welcome to New World! As you can tell, this site is currently under construction and not very "pretty". Just to give you some idea of what's going on, here is an overview.

I am a self-employed web developer, owner of Anomaly Media. I also work for the owner of Womens-Health.com and Mens-Health.com which are forum communities much like this one.

The topics on the site have been on my mind for a long time. They are things that I feel very passionate about in one way or another and I know are on the minds of people just like you. It really bothers me that the human race cannot get along or work together to make this world a better place. There is so much violence, neglect, destruction, and ignorance that it just sickens me. There has to be a better way... a way to make this a "New World".

Some people say, "one person can't make a difference". But I say they are wrong! If one person can gather others and those people can gather even more people, then the efforts will grow and strengthen. I believe the starting point for making things better is education and communication. The Internet makes both possible with everything at the tip of your fingers, no matter where you are on the planet. So... here we are... you and I... let's try to make a difference. Let's try to help others see a new future... a new way of life... where people care about others and the environment... where people aren't selfish and hateful.

Being a struggling, middle class, free-lance web developer... I am finding it difficult to get the resources to make this site all that it can be. I am not saying that because I expect money from anyone, but just because I want you to be patient while I develop it and make it into something amazing. I have to purchase some software called VBSEO which will make the forums run better and I have to make time in my busy schedule to create new graphics and customize everything. Right now, we are looking at the default version of my purchased forum software. Pretty "blah", I know, but I am good at what I do and this is going to look fantastic!

In the mean time, I need everyone's help to get this thing going. I need people to start posting about what they really care about. I know there is something here that you are concerned about so don't hesitate to speak your mind about it. Share your thoughts and questions. Envite others to come and post too. Membership is free! No cost to you what-so-ever. And let me know if you have any suggestions!

Okay, so I have all the software that I needed. Got it a little while back. So we are all set in that department.

You probably all noticed that I finally put up some new graphics. Everyone likes them, but it seems to be the consensus that it they don't quite fit the subject matter. So, I will be changing those soon.

I am so pleased at the turn out of support so far! I am so happy that my friends and family have come here to post and share their thoughts. Thanks everyone! I really appreciate it!! This forum will be "popping" in no time!
