Default Saying no to drugs--to your doctor?

Have you ever questioned a medication that your doctor prescribed for you. I have. It's been well documented that doctors get endorsed from various drug companies for prescribing certain drugs. I experienced a similar case where my doctor was trying to make me take what is basically a newer, but more expensive version of what I already take. I simply said "no" and insisted on continuing with current drug. It just shows that even doctors must be questioned.

Yeah, they're just doing their job...being an empiricist. Don't ask questions, let us handle everything and everything WILL BE OKAY...

I look forward to hearing any stores related to the pharmomania.
