Hi Everyone: My name is Caroline....I am the older generation of this Forum but don't tell me this....
My hobby is older antiques, toys, books and anything from childhood...I love those wonderful days of the past, and my love of life and my husband reflects this....I wish I had some great knowledge to share about all my accomplishments, but I guess my proudest is still being so in love with a man after 50 years of marriage.(and 3 kids)....I can't believe I am saying this....Needless to say I am not ashamed of my age... Jessica, I think that this look is wild...I love it...When I first saw it I felt like I was in New York, New York Casino in Las Vegas....It reminded me of the wonderful alleyway's of the casino with the fish dinners, deli with sour pickles and Reuben. Then I will add the big brownie's that they had as a treat...So you can see, I love food....Don't ever ask me why I thought of New York, New York, but that is what hit me.....Great job...Kudos to you....Take care, Caroline |

I know I said this before, but will say it again! I am so glad you stumbled across my site! Yeay!
![]() I love to think about things from my past. Like going to the old fashioned candy store that used to be down the street from my grandma's house. She would walk with me down there and I would get backs of gummy worms and other candies. Or, I used to love to play on the lawn with grandma's white sheets. I can't really say what my fascination was with the sheets, but I sure had fun with them. Haha. Yes, I too sound silly. I also miss my little red/white tricycle that I had when I was really small. I rode that thing everywhere until the wheel broke off and my dad threw it away. I was so sad. I think about it now and it's funny... well... cute I suppose. Glad to hear you like the design. I wasn't sure what everyone would think because it's so different. I had a bunch of different thoughts about where to take it, but that is what evolved. I thought about a layout with images of the negative things impacting the world, but I figured people wouldn't want to come here and see that every time. So then I thought maybe I would do something more clean, modern, and corporate looking... but I thought that was boring. Alas, this was what came out of my head. Haha. I am anxious to hear what everyone else thinks of it. I love your description of your vision! ![]()

Jessica, I love this site! I think that it will do wonders... we can all share what we do to do our part. I think like an image gallery would be cool if possible, because those who would like to see images of what we humans are doing to our planet can easliy access them, whereas those who are not interested can pass it by. Just a thought...
I love the graphics and the colors as well and especially the topics. Great job and I will for sure tell everyone I know!!! |
