I Called This Blog "Just A Moment In Time"....I Have No Idea Why...But I Did...

This is a blog...But seeing Jessica doesn't have a place for it, I am putting it here...I am also mad enough that I am going to put my website address back on...If someone doesn't like it, then they can put blinders on.....I did this a couple of days ago...

I can't recall ever in my life being as disgusted with my fellow man as I am now ..Watching these crooks sitting at the tables with their water glasses before them being grilled by Congressman and showing no regret whatsoever, has made me realize the new depth of greed in man...All of these parasites accompanied by their bevy of rich lawyers...It is their "good guy" club...You know, "you scratch my back and I will do yours".....

An hour of watching this and I wanted to get away from the TV....I needed fresh air and a new outlook on life....This was accomplished by venturing out to our local grocery store...I used this as an excuse, but I did want to pick up a few things...Unfortunately, a few items ended up being a whole cart full, so we had to use the drive up... I, like everyone else nowadays, try to conserve on gasoline....With this in mind, I try and buy in bulk...When we drove up to pick up our groceries, I noticed other orders being loaded into cars...Two of the four cars loaded had brought their own special cloth bags with them..One, was a man who checked out in front of us...He was with his young son who he called Eric....Cute little guy of about 3....Now about these bags, I think these had been purchased from the store...This is being done to save our trees....It's funny as something that I never thought of before, I do now...In fact I just told my husband about this about two hours ago....It must begin somewhere and for me this is the place....

What really gets to me is this cancerous growth of executives that I am seeing....No scruples...They will take from anyone just to have their money...They have no ethics...People are suffering and it is not their money, but they don't care...They are immune...Years ago they lost their conscience....I heard that Sullivan say that he was not going to give back the $40 million dollar golden umbrella or whatever it is called that they gave him...He was from AIG.....Rule (I believe his name is) from Lehman Brothers pulled out near one-half a billion dollars in seven years....He was CEO of the bank......This had people's money in it, but he thought it was his.....These are thief's.....I also read today that someone came up to him and socked him in the face...Knocked him out cold...Now he has security with him....He probably will the rest of his life....I just read it and I don't blame them.....

A man in California who was 45 years old couldn't handle the pressure...He had a business degree and had been with Pricewaterhousecoopers and other companies...He lost his job some months ago...He lived in a rented home in a gated community in Los Angles...A couple days ago he killed his mother-in-law, wife, three sons who were ages 7 to 19 and then himself....It is people like all these money hungry creeps, who have helped put the gun in their hand's...They even furnished him with the bullets....

I watched the debate last night....I really don't know much about Obama, but he does make sense...He seems honest...McClain, in my humble opinion, is too old...He looked white...He does not look good and then I will add that he was far too cocky.....He did not come over good. Saying this, is not like me....You see I was a Republican....You did notice that I said was....Not anymore...

I try and stay out of politics and world situations...I am older and what happens really does not affect me....But I know that Russia has an itchy finger and must be watched...I know that we have to develop nuclear power to live....I know that we have to get out of the grasp of Russia as far as oil is concerned....Last but not least, I know that eventually we will probably have one hell of a world war that will leave all of us all swearing that so help us God, after this hell on earth that we have seen, we will only fight with sticks and stones...

When I leave this earth, the way that it looks now, I will be leaving a trash pit of corruption.......I see the Sun melting the ice and the Winter that I have known and loved slowly disappearing.............I see an earth approaching where the food and the drinking water will become scarce......I see a time coming when the water will take more of the land ........And just maybe that the name "God" may once again be revered.......

I wonder if this blog was written because I am now old?.....................Do you think different when age catches up on you?...............If so, it is good...............For a new and softer you emerges..........I like that.......I like that a lot....Take care, Caroline
