**War....Why Not War???**

I wonder if people ever got along with each other? From the time I started learning about life it involved a war...Even if it was cowboys and Indians...My puppies make war on each other....Can't we ever talk peace and get along together?....I really doubt it....With the world shrinking, and it is with the over population, all the necessary things to sustain life will be so much more important...If you think this will make peace, then I think you are wrong...

Never in my life would I have thought that someday I would not regret being young....Well I don't...But I was lucky....My sons were never involved in the war's...

Thinking about life, I wonder if Adam and Eve ever thought that their son Cain would kill his brother Abel? I guess this was when the first true war began....

I would like to clarify something on my post on WAR...I detest War....It kills people...It does no good...It is senseless but it is life...As a child in first grade I recall practicing sitting under the desk because of war...I knew soldiers as a child that died and I didn't know why...Now I see it in my homeland....We had our own 9/11 and none of us have really gotten past this and probably never will.....But then, maybe we're not supposed to...Maybe this is a vision that is supposed to stay with us to warn us.....To say, value what you have....Don't let it slip away....Life is too short....And it is...Believe me it is....

May I explain on my signing that post....I signed it CarolineWH.....That was an old name that was taken away from me....Here I have it back.....And I wear it with both such pride and humility.....For I am CarolineWH and a member of this wonderful site.....

Now on to your post...

I never understood war either. I don't understand why humans have to constantly fight with each other to the point of killing. But then again, look at all the murdering that happens here within the US. Killing and disregard for life seems to be programmed into our very nature. Survival of the fittest. Everyone wants what the other guy has. Everyone thinks their way is the only way. That's what is wrong with us.

Evolution has it's way of weeding out the weak and unsuccessful. This might sound cold and hearless of me, but for the countries that can't take care of themselves because they don't have the common sense to change things... well... I don't see the point in trying to help them.

There is something wrong with a people that will allow the raping and abuse of women and children. That would rather opress and control their people into depression then promote learning and growth. And yet, we always set out to protect them.

The thing that stand out in my mind is images of people holding hateful signs showing that they clearly did not want the American people meddling in their affairs. The citizens of the countries we were helping, were telling us to get out. They were ungrateful. We were intruding. They didn't want to change their ways. That was their way of life. As destruction continued and their way of life fell apart... it wasn't until then, that you started to see people saying... oh now we are grateful that you are here. Whatever.
